Notes from a Bible study taught by Pastor Don.
This is a link to my other blog. This Bible study is vital to our healing. So many of us look at the facts of our lives instead of the truth of God. We are abused, but God is the healer – we don’t need to stay caught in the bondage of the oppression we’ve faced in our past.
I would be interested in hearing your comments and questions about this teaching.
I pray your day is blessed.

About Heather Marsten
I am happy to be posting on this site. My blog used to be on Xanga, but Xanga is shutting down on 7/15/13. I am copying all my posts on this site from Xanga, which means that each day I am going to be posting hundreds. I do not want to lose my Bible study notes or the notes form my pastors' teachings, so I am working hard to put nine years of posts on this site. Once that Is done I look forward to coming to your blogs and "meeting" you. Have a blessed day.
Heather Marsten is writing a memoir detailing her healing journey as a survivor of incest and other childhood abuse. Having overcome the past, she is happily married for twenty-six years and the mom of three young adults. She believes that, no matter what we have suffered in life, healing is possible. Our past does not have to affect our present.
Yes this is so true. Find the lie and ask Jesus to tell you His truth and to replace the lie with it.
I believe in the deliverance ministry, having had deliverance myself and now training to be a deliverance minister. What I have learned is that demons reside in our soul which contain the mind, will and emotions. Once the Holy Spirit abides in us, He takes up residence, but we need to deal with the soul.
In my last deliverance session last year which contained no yelling or manifestations, many curses, devices and spells were broken along with poverty and breakdown curses and generational curses. Jesus truly sets us free, and when we are free we are free indeed.
Blessings on your walk and freedom.
